Remembering the Secret

So many people have read or watched "The Secret" (if you haven't, it is worth a watch or a read).  I was drawn today to take my copy off of the shelf and open to a page.  Whatever is on that page I am supposed to share with you today.  Here it is...

""There is no blackboard in the sky on which God has written your purpose, your mission in life.  There's no blackboard in the sky that says, "Neale Donald Walsh.  Handsome guy who lived in the first part of the twenty-first century, who..."  And then there's a blank.  And all I have to do to really understand what I'm doing here, why I'm here, is to find that blackboard and find out what God really has in mind for me.  But the blackboard doesn't exist.

So your purpose is what you say it is.  Your mission is the mission you give yourself.  Your life will be what you create it as, and no one will stand in judgment of it, now or ever."

-Written by Neale Donald Walsch, Author, International Speaker, and Spiritual Messenger

Are you waiting for someone to tell you what to do with your life?  It is up to you to create the life you want.  You absolutely have help from God and the angels, and they will help co-create the life you want with you, if you just ask them.  You are always supported by the angels, but they can only truly help you if you ask.  They can not violate free will, ever.

Prayers are very powerful, and they are always heard, and always answered.  Sometimes you may have difficulty hearing them if your life is too busy and you don't slow down to listen.  You can hear them in the quiet, when you quiet your mind and soul...and listen.  A few minutes of mediation a day is a good way to practice this quieting of the mind for receiving messages.  Remember to ask for that which you want in your life, rather than that which you don't want.  ;o)  That is the power in words!  Have fun creating....!

Thank you for posting that Beth, that really speaks to me. And your last words, “have fun creating” really stood out to me too. That is exactly what I am doing. I am allowing myself to express myself creatively, knowing that it is what I am meant to do. For too many years I have stifled my creativity, but I now know that it is what I am meant to do.
    Thank you ♥

  2. Interesting that this book popped out at you recently. It has me too. I found a copy of the audio book on CD the other day and then today the DVD popped out at me on my shelf. Probably means I should take a look at it all again huh? 😉 Need to listen more to signs like that. Now, here you are mentioning it. I got it, I got it. 🙂
